signing einstein is a Chicago-based adult contemporary rock group that focuses on developing intricate and thought-provoking music. Their songs reflect influences from Pink Floyd, and Berlin to a host of other artists based in rock, blues, dance and reggae. This diverse setting resulted in a compilation of varying tastes and moods, yet still delivered a cohesive and flowing progression of material.

After a twelve-year collaborative hiatus, songwriter/producers Joe Nuccio and Vince Varco re-dedicated themselves to developing music that was not hindered by live performace limitations or fickle current musical trends. The material was crafted and reworked until the right formula had been achieved.

Originally focused on finding the best male vocalist, they soon found Gina Gonzalez, who had recorded the demo versions of the songs, brought a fresh twist to the music. The next variable came in the form of well-known guitarist Dave Uhrich. Dave agreed to contribute to the project and the results proved to provide the music with the energy it required.

Legendary Chicago engineer Jim Godsey, was utilized to record and mix the CD. Jimmy's experience and technical abilities captured the music at it's best. Subsequent sessions at Chicago Trax and subtle mastering by Dan Stout at Colossal Mastering, provided the polished, final project.

Lead Vocalist: Gina Gonzalez
Gina has the voice of an angel, with a delivery like the devil. She has spent her whole life performing and with
she does just that, perform. Although Gina
has been compared to vocalists ranging from Bonnie Raitt to Sarah McLachlan, one thing
is certain. Her voice will move you.

Bass Guitar: Joe Nuccio
Joe has played his bass from Anchorage to Los Angeles. A wordsmith at heart, he has
provided us with an introspective look at individuals. Some nice, some not so. His bass
playing has been likened to Roger Waters and Geddy Lee. With enough bottom end to tear
it down, and groove to make you move, Joe spells out the lessons learned.

Keyboards: Vincent Varco
This award-winning keyboardist has been a fixture on the Chicago music scene for the last
fifteen years. His contribution ranges from classically inspired arrangements to swirling walls
of sound. Vince's subtle use of colors give this music a voice that cannot be forgotten.
The textures he chooses are reminiscent of Pink Floyd, ever-present, yet carefully under-
stated.
